Not only will candidates be able to search for jobs using the app and be automatically notified of new roles that match their ideal criteria, but it also has a live Twitter Feed, Google Maps and video from Nestlé’s YouTube channel incorporated, giving users a more interactive journey.

So it turns out that CWJobs are doing something pretty nifty in the market and have opened a competition for all the budding job hunters out there to be the first ever person (certainly that I know of) to create an augmented reality CV. Sweet!!

I’m quite fortunate! Rarely do I come across a contractor that doesn’t feel working with a specialist recruitment agency is good value for money. I say fortunate…in fact I work very hard to give a service that I would want myself. There will always be times when contractors would prefer to find work themselves, and are more than capable of doing so – but is it cost effective to build your own network and cut out agents altogether?
